The Department of Physiology and Developmental Biology at Brigham Young University announces the availability of one faculty position.
Applicants should have a doctoral degree, with expertise in physiology, developmental biology, neuroscience, cellular/molecular biology, biophysics, or a related area and should be capable of teaching courses in physiology, pathophysiology, endocrinology, anatomy, tissue biology, or developmental biology. Faculty is expected to participate in classroom teaching, professional service, and scholarship, including the mentoring of undergraduate and graduate research. Candidates must demonstrate a high potential for establishment of an externally funded research program as evidenced by post-doctoral experience, publications, and previous and/or current funding. To strengthen current areas of research emphasis in the department, applicants with training and experience in the fields of physiology, developmental biology, biophysics, or neuroscience will be given preference.
