…seeks a PhD Student interested in combining membrane biophysics and biochemistry to study protein-lipid interactions.

 

Candidates should have experience in membrane biophysics experimentation, as well as advanced training in physical biochemistry and must be accepted into the competitive PDBio Graduate Program for doctoral training and willing to live by the BYU Honor Code. The thesis project would revolve around reconstituted and heterologously expressed ion channels, including influenza M2 and other model channels suitable for structural evaluation by NMR.
