TRAINING COURSE SUMMARY

Welcome to the Biophysics Great Lab!

The Biophysics Great Lab is dedicated to helping students make the most of their research opportunities. To help in this process we provide you with a one semester training course in basic biophysic research. During the course you will be introduced to many of the methods and procedures used in the Biophysics Great Lab. If you chose to continue research in the Biophysics Great Lab you will be better prepared to excel.

The Biophysics Great Lab Training Course is provided to help you make the most of your research experience.

You will be required to attend the same group session each week throughout the semester. Once you have secured a space in a training group you may obtain an Add/Drop card for one hour of *PDBio 494R Credit from Marilyn Baker.

Purpose

Choosing a research project should be done carefully; we want to help you in making this decision.

The Biophysics Great Lab Basic Training Course is designed to train you in basic research skills and to introduce the types of research and resources available to you in the Biophysics Great Lab. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to explore the available research options in the Biophysics Great Lab before committing to a specific project or professor.
