Rules for use of facility

1. If you are a novice user, you must undergo training either with an Olympus representative or with the confocal technician. For your first 10 hours of use, technician supervision is required. At the end of this time, you will receive authorization to use the confocal facility independently.
   
2. There are several labs at BYU that require the use of the facility. Accordingly, reservations may be made on a first-come, first-serve basis, but may be changed or canceled by the facility supervisor if the amount of time desired is unreasonable.
3. Costs for Confocal usage are $15 for use without technician and $20 with technician.
